World of Warcraft Diorama
World of Warcraft, a renowned MMORPG, tasked us with creating a groundbreaking idea for BlizzCon. To celebrate the fans, we randomly selected 10,000 player characters and 3D printed them into 1.5-inch miniature figurines. Collaborating with Blizzard, we built the largest diorama ever created, showcasing it at BlizzCon. Fans could search for their names, and if their character was on the battlefield, an overhead camera would zoom in on their figurine, allowing them to see their character in action.
Unveiled at BlizzCon as an activation event for the launch of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, the diorama featured 5,000 Alliance and 5,000 Horde characters on a meticulously crafted battlefield. This project broke the Guinness World Record for the largest diorama ever created, measuring 1,300 square feet.
